Langhe & Liguria

7 days/6 nights

Langhe hills and Ligurian Sea: the perfect combination for an unforgettable week of holiday.

A full immersion experience into the Langhe vineyards and his great wines mixed with three days discovering Genoa, the ancient Maritime Republic: you’ll be able to walk in the tangle of steep streets and lanes of the old sailors’ quarter fanning up from the Porto Vecchio (old harbor), where is the Aquarium, the largest in Italy. Finally you’ll reach the amazing Portofino area, where you’ll relax in wonderful surroundings.

Both regions are now Unesco Heritage Sites, as cultural areas of exceptional value, where is possible to discover tastes and unique food and wine itineraries, where the tradition still represents a lifestyle.

The landscapes of the Piedmont vineyards provide outstanding living testimony to winegrowing and winemaking traditions that stem from a long history, and that have been continuously improved and adapted up to the present day.  You will enjoy a very interesting full day wine tour, discovering the famous wines of the region and you will meet our cook Raffaella, for a half day cooking class about the local ancient cuisine.

Then you’ll visit Genoa, now Italy’s leading port, with a long history of maritime power in the late 16th and early 17th centuries, when the Republic of Genoa was at the height of its financial and seafaring power. It’s still possible to visit the marble and noble palaces, the old churches and the cathedral, the waterfront and, moving towards Portofino and S. Margherita Ligure, take a walk along the coast discovering an authentic area where you find some hops crops, the bee forest, vineyards, the olive grow above the Baia degli Inglesi. The tour ends with a tasting of local products and with lunch in a picturesque and ancient mill.

The tour is dedicated to small groups of people (min. 8 pax).
